Once you have cut all of the bias strips you need for your binding, the next step is to sew them together.
This seam will look unusual, but after it is sewn and folded
over, you will see that it makes a straight strip. Match the ends of the strips like this, there
will be tiny triangle tips sticking out:.

They should be lined up with your 1/4 inch seam allowance..Sew these pieces together, finger press the seam allowances to one side, and fold the binding strip shut.
Continue this process of sewing and folding until your
strip is long enough. I generally fold
all of the seam allowances to one side; many quilters open up the seam for less
bulk.
You may also need to trim some of the little triangle tips that extend beyond the binding. You can do that using scissors or a rotary cutter.
Note: there is a way to make continuous binding; you can sew it together and cut it so it is in one piece. Although it may look easier, I have found it to be more confusing, and stick with my one piece at a time method.
Happy Quilting!
